Do you really know who your customer is?
Find out exactly why your marketing isn’t landing - in only 20 minutes
A free diagnostic tool for small business owners who are working hard, but not seeing the result they should be.
Just 5 questions. All you’ll need is 20 minutes and a pen.
This free one-page tools shows you the gap between roughly knowing your customer, and specifically understanding them well enough to reach them.
Each questions is designed to build on the last, taking you deeper into your customer’s world. You’re not looking at their demographics, you’re looking at their inner life, exploring the context they arrive with, the risks they are managing, and the language they use. By the fifth question you’ll uncover the gap between how you talk to your customer and what they want to hear.
Here’s a sample of what’s inside:
What is your customer trying to accomplish, and where does your product or service sit within that larger goal?
Not the immediate transaction. The thing they're trying to achieve, of which your offer is one part. For example, the executive isn't just buying coaching — they're trying to hold together the team they've spent three years trying to build.
What else is competing for their attention at the exact moment they're dealing with the problem you solve?
Your customer doesn't arrive at your product with a clear head. They arrive mid-context with other decisions half-made, other pressures running in the background, and other people waiting on them. What's on their plate at that moment? What are you competing with for their focus?

Does this sound familiar?
You’re trying everything, posting, emailing, buying ads, but things aren’t moving the way you’d hoped. Finding customers and converting sales are just harder than they should be. So much effort, and the results are just…fine.
Most people assume the fix is more content, or more consistency, or a better platform. Usually it’s none of those things.
Usually it’s something upstream, namely the gap between roughly knowing your customer, and specifically understanding them. It can be a small gap, but it’s probably big enough to affect everything downstream: your marketing, your channels, your message, your offer, your conversion rate.
This free, 20 minute diagnostic tool will show you exactly how big that gap is.

Yes. No catch, and no hidden upsell sequence. You’ll get an occasional email from me, but nothing aggressive, and nothing you can’t unsubscribe from later.
-
Probably yes. Most customer avatars describe demographics. That’s useful, but these questions go deeper: into context, risk, motivation and language. If you answer all 5 and find them easy, then you’re in good shape. Most people find one question that’s thinner than they expected.
-
Twenty minutes if you move through it honestly. But longer if a question resonates you and you want to think about it. Both are fine.

You get the tool! I’ll also share a bit more about the customer clarity process over the next few weeks. That will include some stories about a few business owners who have been through the full process and what changed for them. Nothing you didn’t sign up for.
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
The questions quickly helped clarify how I should approach things, and one in particular shocked me. In the best way. It was the business equivalent of finding out you have spinach in your teeth. ”
